Кілька досягнень за минулий рік: 🙌 наша ветеранська програма, покликана допомагати реінтегруватися нашим колегам, що повертаються до цивільного життя, отримала нагороду Global Compact Partnership for Sustainability Awards 2024. А це значить, що ми на правильному шляху. 🙌 Благодійний фонд 'Відкриті очі' разом з Океан Ельзи / Okean Elzy ініціювали благодійний проєкт «Drive for Life: Okean Elzy Edition» для збору коштів на 30 автомобілів швидкої допомоги. Під час концертів та інших фандрейзингових активностей зібрали понад 23 мільйони гривень. Загалом торік фонд передав медикам 132 швидкі, які допомогли евакуювати 60 192 людей. 🙌 відзначили п'ятиріччя pro bono програми OpenTech, в межах якої наші колеги волонтерять своїми навичками та часом, втілюючи важливі соціальні проєкти. До річниці ми запустили відкритий конкурс та відібрали 8 ініціатив, для яких наші колеги розроблять технологічні рішення. Це лише декілька важливих моментів, про які хочеться розповісти. #Gender | “I learned how to interact and engage with people through my role at PANI, which made my transition to HUL easier. Although one is a nonprofit and the other a corporate, there are similarities in my work at both organisations. At first, I did not expect my role at HUL to include field work. But as I became familiar with my responsibilities, I understood why this is an important dimension of working at a corporate. In the early days at HUL it took a while for me to get used to working with an entirely male team. While I had been the person who encouraged team members to speak up at PANI, I now found myself hesitating to put my point forward or ask questions in a room full of men. But I stayed focused on the job that needed to be done and adjusted quickly. The initial days always present a steep learning curve. I never backed down or felt dejected if my questions weren’t answered. Instead, I tried to grasp as much as possible by observing the other RSPs. Over the past couple of months staff have used their volunteering hours to make a difference by supporting local charities and communities ⤵️ Our team in Inverness visited the Highland Hospice warehouse to help sort through donations to restock their 15 charity shops🧣 A group from our Edinburgh office supported Vintage Vibes Edinburgh - who aim to tackle loneliness for over 60s - with their 9th birthday party celebration 🎈 The Cerebral Palsy Scotland Conference saw a team from Glasgow helping attendees receive the appropriate support to access the event, exhibition and speaker sessions 💚 While another group from Glasgow volunteered their time at Ronald McDonald House Charities United Kingdom to help clean the kitchens, paint outdoor furniture and more 🖌️ #OurCommunitiesMatter
