What's your Hope for Hornby? For Tracy at My School Shoes it's all about strengthening the community through bringing people together - combatting the isolation so many in our community feel. That's why she's generously donated 9 pairs of shoes, to be given to local kids doing it tough. We've seen kids we work with missing out because they don't have adequate shoes - not attending school, or unable to take part in sports. This donation will be really meaningful for these kids. 💛 This is a classroom. In Kericho, children as young as 3–6 years old come here to learn every day. Two classes are squeezed under one roof, with very few desks, no books, no proper blackboard, and no meals. Most of these children come from very humble backgrounds. Some are orphans. Some come to school hungry and go back home hungry. 💔 They have nothing to give them hope yet they still come, eager to learn and dream. Through Cherotich Foundation, we are determined to change this. This December, we are starting with one safe classroom, desks, books, and at least one meal a day. 📚🍲✨ 🌍 Together, we can give them more than survival. We can give them hope.
