African-American
Hey guys! 🌟 This is Yummy Shanny, your go-to guide for the best food and travel experiences around the world! 🌍🍴
Can you believe how quickly this year has flown by? In the blink of an eye, 2024 is coming to an end! 🎉 But before we say goodbye, let’s take a moment to reflect on the delicious journey we’ve had with "Food to Food".
How many countries have we compared with Chinese cuisine this year? And do you remember the incredible connections we discovered between cultures?
🍽️ European Flavors
We explored some amazing European dishes, from French onion soup, Russian Kvass, Polish-style cabbage rolls and Serbian blood sausage to Hungarian chimney bread. But that’s not all! We also took a closer look at Norwegian and Finnish food, from hearty Norwegian gravlax to the savory Finnish karjalanpiirakka (Karelian pasty). Even though China and the Nordic countries may seem far apart, we discovered fantastic connections between their culinary traditions, showing that flavors and stories can travel across the world!

🍜 Asian Delights
We dove into favorites like naan, pilaf, and Naren noodles, which represent the rich culinary diversity across Asia. We also explored the cuisines of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, where dishes bear remarkable similarities to Xinjiang cuisine in China. These shared flavors reflect the cultural and historical ties along the ancient Silk Road, uniting these regions in both taste and tradition.
