Play Netball is coming to Euston this Summer and will be hosting a FREE open Netball session for everyone - whether you currently play, or want to try netball for the first time. The idea is to keep it simple and fun - come and enjoy Netball as an individual, or group of friends, socialise with other local women, and try out different positions in an fun & informal setting. For any women completely new to Netball, we want you to feel confident to come down and give it a go, and to see what it's all about in a relaxed, no commitment, friendly atmosphere. What to expect? The session will be on Thursday 7th August from 6:30-8:30pm at Maria Fidelis Roman Catholic Convent School, hosted by our local and experienced coordinator! You'll put on a bib, and play! There’s no scoring, no formal teams, just a relaxed opportunity to get on court, re-fresh the rules and have some match play alongside other local women. Heads up, if you enjoy this session and want to keep playing, then you can sign up to our league and play weekly matches with us every Thursday! We can either create a team for you out of individual players, or you can join as a group of friends, or a whole team! If you do decide to sign up before the league starts, your team will receive a FREE set of netball bibs! Hej Melvin Sjölin, vad tyckte du om Rörelse på Rasts föreningsdag? Det var kul att testa på en massa sporter som jag inte provat annars. Dodgeball var väldigt roligt och det var första gången jag spelade det. Det var roligt att kasta och fånga att fånga den mjuka bollen. Parkour på skolgården var väldigt roligt med. Och att åka skridskor i den nya ishallen. Hur känner du dig när du får röra på dig med dina vänner? Bra. Det är lite samma känsla som när jag spelar handboll och får vara med i ett lag. -------- Föreningsdagen anordnas av Rörelse på rast. Idén och finansieringen av Rörelse på rast står Sparbanken Alingsås stiftelse för, som genomförs av RF-SISU Västra Götaland på uppdrag av skolförvaltningarna i våra 4 kommuner. Syftet är att uppmuntra till rörelse och socialt umgånge på rasterna i grundskolan, men även skapa intresse för att aktivera sig på fritiden.
