This acoustic duo performs an eclectic mix of original Folk/Irish/Rock. For a lack of a better word they refer to their unique style as “Irish-Boereblues!” Singer/songwriter, Christoff Beukes, plays acoustic Guitar, Harmonica and does the Lead Vocal duties in this exciting duo. He is also the principle songwriter. David Delaney, is an Irishman, that has been calling South Africa home, for the last couple of years. He grew up learning his craft playing in the pubs of Waterford, where he was born. He plays the Fiddle; a traditional Irish flute called the Low Whistle, Mandolin and does Backing Vocals. Their debut album, “Good to be Alive”, is an amalgamation of their individual musical and cultural backgrounds. “Tightrope” is their second single. Apart from the interesting mix of acoustic instruments, it is the beautiful blend of vocal harmonies that keeps audiences transfixed. Due to their diverse musical backgrounds, they cover a lot of ground with a repertoire that includes covers of their favourite artists: Springsteen, U2, Cat Stevens, and many more. Also, Irish Folk Songs and Instrumentals, a Scottish waltz, an Argentinian tango, the odd Afrikaans classic and songs from their debut album. Simply Dan are a UK Steely Dan tribute band, created by like-minded musicians who wanted to authentically present the kaleidoscopic sounds of Steely Dan. The 11 piece band focus on producing the complex harmonies and intricate rhythms of Donald Fagen and his band. Founded in 2016 by Mark Roadnight (lead singer, guitar), Roger Evan (keys), Mark Claydon (drums) and featuring Darren Spicer (guitar) and David McLeod (bass), the players are all experienced world class musicians who have toured, gigged and written songs all over the world. Together, they have a penchant for playing Steely Dan covers, challenging themselves by staying faithful to the original recordings whilst also firmly putting their own stamp on the material. Simply Dan use a 4 piece horn section to add to the already rich harmonies and sound. Along with two soulful backing vocalists, this Steely Dan tribute band aim to do justice to one of the world’s most interesting and challenging groups ever recorded. Two Exciting Gig Announcements! Come on out and have some fun with us! First up: Friday, July 25th. Crossroads in Garwood, NJ (Exit 137 GSP). 9:30pm. Late enough to miss traffic, Early enough to get home in bed before too late (if you worry about such things). Crossroads is a great club with good food and drinks! Next: Thurs., August 7th. Somerset County 4-H Fair. an all ages early show. 6pm. North Branch Park, Bridgewater, NJ. Outdoor gigs are always fun! Things to do as a family too. We plan on debuting a new song or two, so come on out. Come out to both and we'll be sure to change the show around. Do to family commitments (vacations...). These are our last 2 gigs till mid September.

LINGER is the first and most active tribute to this multi-hit band in all the United States, and it all started in April 2022 in Denver, Colorado. LINGER's most important hook as a tribute to The Cranberries, is the original voice of their lead singer Mary Kate McNally. There will never exist someone that sings like Dolores, but Mary Kate doesn't try to imitate her or exaggerate Dolores peculiar yodeling and voice, but her interpretation is very similar. Along with Mary Kate, is a rockin’ band with energy that, creates a wonderful connection with the audience! Songs like Zombie, Linger, Dreams, Salvation, Just my Imagination, Ode to my Family, When you’re gone, Animal Instinct, are just some of the hits that you will recognize immediately and take you back to high school or college.
