Ce samedi 21 juin 2025, jour du solstice d’été, marquait la fête de la musique à l’échelle mondiale pendant que l’événement « Podium littéraire » rentrait dans l’histoire de la Ville de Québec, à l’initiative du Regroupement des Haïtiens de la Capitale-Nationale (RHCN), pour une toute première édition. En effet, c’est dans les locaux chaleureux et accueillants de la Maison de la littérature, que s’est déroulé ce rendez-vous avec les mots. En compagnie des auteur.ice.s Fabrice Vil, Mélina Seymour et Élima Diabong (Pavaneuse Pavaneuse), c’est avec beaucoup d’intensité que se sont déroulées les discussions, touchant à la fois des souvenirs heureux et difficiles, les uns les plus touchants que les autres. Guidé avec bienveillance par Houmou, chroniqueuse littéraire et militante pour les droits et libertés individuelles, ce panel s’est déroulé avec une fluidité et une constance inégalables. 📌 Bon gason! Konpliman! Egare! Un livre qui fait place à la réflexion, qui invite à se remettre en question afin de pouvoir mieux se retrouver. Un livre en or. 📌 Quand l’Afrique (r)appelle ses enfants Afro-descendants, un rappel aux racines profondes et à l’histoire d’une terre qui nous unit : l’Afrique. Une perle rare. 📌 Bibi le brocoli 🥦, une histoire qui invite à l’acceptation de soi, de nos différences qui font notre force et de la recherche de l’authenticité. une vraie pépite! , ☑️ À nos « précieux » partenaires (Précieux, oui et on pèse bien nos mots) : Service jeunesse Canada 🇨🇦, Maison de la littérature, 24H ChronoSports, Regal Kreyol Restaurant, MERCI. Votre contribution à la réussite de la première édition de « Podium littéraire » a été le résultat d’une symbiose parfaite dépassant même nos attentes. ☑️ Shout out à JL Danse et à Badra qui ont enflammé le podium, le temps d’une performance. ☑️ Au public qui a fait le déplacement pour le rendez-vous, MERCI. Fabrice VIL l’a si bien écrit sur une de ses publications datant du 20 décembre 2024 : «… malgré nos différences, malgré nos différends, la vie porte un amour qui nous transcende et qui dépasse les murs identitaires et idéologiques: tout le monde désire un monde où il fait bon vivre. » Vous en avez été la preuve vivante. ☑️ Aux bénévoles motivé.e.s (certains ont fait le déplacement depuis Montréal et d’autres se sont même égarés en chemin 😉), votre soutien est impayable. Pour reprendre quelques mots d’Élima lors de la réception du prix REPAF récemment à Montréal le 9 juin dernier: « Vous nous donnez l'élan de continuer, de rêver encore plus grand, et surtout, de ne jamais nous arrêter. » ☑️ À notre photographe Laurie, ayant réussi à figer le temps, à saisir chaque sourire, chaque câlin, chaque poignée de main. 📸 À travers ses clichés, Laurie a non seulement réussi à créer des souvenirs mais aussi des émotions, le temps d’un instant. Pour paraphraser la directrice de Seymour Créations, Mélina Seymour : « Avec ou sans trophée, avancer fièrement. Jusqu'à ce que la présence devienne plus éloquente qu'un discours. Jusqu'à ce que le parcours soit en lui-même une victoire. Jusqu'à ce que l'élégance du geste parle pour l'âme.
