Fulfilling variety
#HARVEST
🥰 Konjac, a plant rich in dietary fiber, produces edible tubers that can be processed into various delicacies. 🍲 While konjac is highly popular, its cultivation requires advanced technical expertise and management.
🌿 In 2024, with support from CTG, Wushan County in Chongqing Municipality, located in southwestern China, introduced cutting-edge technologies to establish an approximately 67 hectares konjac cultivation base alongside 3.3 hectares of standardized greenhouses for high-quality konjac seed breeding, accelerating variety selection and efficient cultivation practices.🌾
"Scientific methods throughout the entire process have led to remarkable results within the first year," said Jiang Xuekuan, the base staff. 🎙️ The current average per-hectare yield has surpassed 66,100 pounds of konjac, improving livelihoods for many villagers. This humble plant is now nurturing greater hopes across farmlands. 👨🏻🌾
🤲 In recent years, CTG has continued to support Wushan County by building nine village-level storage and cold chain logistics platforms for citrus 🍊 and Wushan crispy plums, along with supporting orchard facilities, 🌳 making rural life more convenient and fulfilling. 💕
