🫵 Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales and Technical Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our cutting-edge technology solutions and providing technical support to our valued customers related to HLCM Group’s geospatial technology products and services. You will work closely with our sales and technical teams to identify customer needs, present solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role includes travel for training and presentations to clients throughout Puerto Rico and potentially the wider Caribbean region.
The position is for 40 hours a week based at our office in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, with business hours of 9 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Friday.

We offer a comprehensive suite of geospatial solutions, including GPS/GNSS, RTK network (VRS) solutions, total stations, 3D laser scanning, mobile mapping, LiDAR, SLAM, Drone/UAV mapping, photogrammetry and image processing, precision agriculture and technology, forensics software, specialized equipment training, and engineering software use. We serve a diverse clientele from both the public and private sectors.
✅ Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify sales leads through various channels.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on our products and services.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical team with support and help develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging geospatial technologies related to HLCM Group’s product lines and services.
- Travel to client locations for training, presentations, and support.
🎓 Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Geospatial Science, Agriculture).
- Experience in sales and technical support, preferably in the geospatial, engineering, mapping, agriculture, or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of GPS/GNSS, total stations, 3D laser scanning, or related technologies
preferably.
- Excellent communication, presentation, research and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
