Prepare to embark on a nostalgic journey at the 29th annual Eliot Antique Tractor & Engine Show held at the picturesque Raitt Homestead Farm Museum. This beloved event offers a delightful experience for the whole family transporting you back in time to the late 1800s with the sights and sounds of antique machinery in action. Witness captivating displays of Hit & Miss engines, vintage tractors and operational farm machinery including fascinating demonstrations such as the functioning Hildreth Woodsplitter and a Shingle Mill producing traditional shingles used in the farm's restoration projects. From tractor parades to the Antique Stoneboat Tractor Pulling, there is excitement for all ages at every corner. Kids are in for a treat with engaging activities like barrel tractor rides, kids' corner, bounce house, face painting and the adorable kids' pedal pull. Be sure to catch live music performances by local artists, crafters, flea market offerings and a scrumptious ham and bean supper to enjoy on Friday evening.
