Introducing ARTDOM Riyadh 2025 Ambassadors: Draga & Aurel. Founded in 2007 by Draga Obradovic and Aurel K. Basedow, Draga & Aurel is a multidisciplinary studio from Lake Como working at the crossroads of art, collectible design, and furnishings. Pioneers of upcycling, they started by reinventing vintage pieces (the first Deshabillé and Heritage collections) and evolved into one of today’s most distinctive voices combining hand-crafted resin, metals, and refined colorwork. Their practice bridges art and design: the acclaimed Transparency Matters project (launched in 2019) explores light and translucency and has been shown with Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Nilufar Gallery, and Todd Merrill Studio. Long-term collaborations include Baxter, Wall&Deco, Visionnaire, Gallotti&Radice, and more recently Poltrona Frau and Giorgetti.
