An outdoor ART party of epic proportions??! Of course it's Gallery Walk (and Bratt First Fridays). Gallery Walk- SEPTEMBER! 16 downtown galleries open their doors to you with new exhibits, activities, artist meet & greets, performances and more. The printed program, with exhibit descriptions and more detail, will be available at any of these galleries and digitally at brattleboro.com Bratt First Friday- SEPTEMBER Elliot Street & Harmony Lot will be closed to traffic making a big ol' hub of festivities in the center of downtown. Outdoor Beer Garden (Harmony Lot): This month Whetstone Beer & North Chair Brewing are taking over the beer garden! Stone Church will be slinging their products including beer, wine and seltzers, and frosty ones at that! The Stage (Harmony Lot): Every month Harmony Lot becomes an outdoor music hall featuring live music from 6-9pm. This month we welcome two bands: Thus Love with support from The Emily Margaret Band. This month the music runs 6-8pm. Food Trucks (Harmony Lot): You can expect a rotating group of 10-12 food trucks at each event. The Maker’s Market (Elliot Street) at Brattleboro First Fridays is where local artists, makers, and vintage vendors can show off their wares. Each month 30+ vendors transform Elliot Street into a vibrant marketplace with a wide array of unique and eclectic goods. Find ceramics, jewelry, cards + prints, natural medicinals, home goods, clothing, plants + flowers, and more! Extra Fun! Sometimes, there are extras- extra performances, extra activities, opportunities to become part of the art-making. Sometimes a sprinkler! This month's Extra Fun includes: Live Raptors and Snakes in Harmony Lot by the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum Vermont Armored Combat: Knights clashing steel for entertainment, we're in! Located in Harmony Lot. Viscera Nefarious: a freaky circus sideshow you won't believe!

Highlights include: Our 10 Year celebration that will bring together remarkable Grace Farms alumni who have shaped our community. The Grace Farms Lectures series, recognizing visionary leaders who have elevated human flourishing throughout their lives and distinguished careers. Music at Grace Farms, concerts inspiring us to imagine new possibilities. This includes a recital by world-renowned cellist, Yo-Yo Ma in the Sanctuary, the glass-enclosed indoor amphitheater, on January 11, 2026. Pianist Solon Gordon will accompany Yo-Yo Ma. Whether performing new or familiar works for cello, bringing communities together to explore culture’s role in society, or engaging unexpected musical forms, Yo-Yo Ma strives to foster connections that stimulate the imagination and reinforce our humanity. #diplomaziaculturale 🇮🇹 🎺 🇪🇹 Si è concluso, in una festosa improvvisazione collettiva all’insegna dell’amicizia tra i nostri popoli, il festival “Italian-Ethiopian Jazz Dialogue 2025”, con il pubblico etiope, italiano e internazionale stipato anche sui gradini del nostro Auditorium, che si esibiva, in un ritmo trascinante, insieme ai due ambasciatori di un jazz senza confini, Paolo Fresu e Omar Sosa Music, decretando loro interminabili standing ovation. ✨ È stato uno spettacolo indimenticabile quello regalatoci da questi due artisti d’eccezione che, con la loro musica ed energia ineguagliabile, hanno trasformato l’Auditorium dell’#IICAddisAbeba in un corale palcoscenico di suoni, luci, ritmi e contaminazioni. 📌 Non mancate ai nostri prossimi appuntamenti, tra cui la rassegna “Fare Cinema” e il XIX Addis International Film Festival (21-25 maggio), il principale evento cinematografico del Paese che anche quest’anno sarà ospitato dal nostro Istituto. * * * 🇮🇹 🎺 🇪🇹 The “Italian-Ethiopian Jazz Dialogue 2025” concluded with a festive collective improvisation in the name of friendship between our peoples! The Ethiopian, Italian and international audience, that evening packed our Auditorium even onto the steps, performed in a captivating rhythm, together with the two ambassadors of a jazz without borders, Paolo Fresu and Omar Sosa Music, giving them endless standing ovations. ✨ It was an unforgettable show given to us by these two exceptional artists who, with their incomparable music and energy, transformed the #IICAddisAbeba Auditorium into a choral stage of sounds, lights, rhythms and fusions. 📌 Don't miss our next events, including the “Fare Cinema” review and the XIX Addis International Film Festival (21-25 May), the main cinematographic initiative of this Country which will be hosted by our Institute also this year.
