🎉𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟱𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹🎭 Deputy Mayor Eluide Miller represented the Belize City Council at the momentous 50th Anniversary Celebration of Carnival in Belize, where he delivered remarks during the Masquerade Gala Awards, Banquet and Dance Night. It was a powerful tribute to five decades of Carnival in Belize, honoring the vibrant culture, artistic brilliance, and resilience that have shaped this beloved tradition. As a sponsor of the Gala and a longstanding supporter, the Belize City Council was also honored with a special award in recognition of its continued contributions to the growth and success of Carnival in Belize City. In his address, Deputy Mayor Miller paid homage to the trailblazers who laid the foundation, celebrated the young visionaries now carrying the torch, and reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to uplifting culture, empowering communities, and protecting our rich Belizean heritage. Congratulations to the organizers, awardees, and every contributor who has helped keep the Carnival legacy alive.
