This past Saturday’s Ride for Recovery was nothing short of amazing. It would not have been possible without the generosity, gratitude, and community spirit that so many brought together. A heartfelt thank you to Steve Grover from Grover Law Firm for the incredible gift of the motorcycle and for all that he continues to do for the community. Steve’s generosity extends far beyond this event, and his ongoing commitment reminds us how powerful it is when we come together. This fundraiser goes directly to The Hospice Promise Foundation, a non-profit entity of our company that can be used to help the financial burdens of hospice patients. We are able to help with funeral and cremation costs, house repairs, light bills, caregiving, etc through this foundation. We will have snacks/drinks for sale as well as a bouncy house for kids! On Sunday 18th May, this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride takes place across the globe, raising awareness and vital funds for the 1 in 7 men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and the millions of men living with mental health challenges they feel they can’t speak about. My hope, through the power of DGR, is to create an environment in my pubs where men feel comfortable enough to open up—and I’m proud to say there have already been a few moments where that’s happened. Support Ashley as she rows for 25 hours AGAIN to raise awareness and money for the working dogs that keep our communities safe! There are an estimated 25,000 working dogs working on behalf of humans in the United States, and we want to help all of them. So, why not start with rowing 25 hours to raise awareness for them?
